once again, pedrali participates to educational projects by taking part into the class "industrial design lab", held by designer robin rizzini, within the master programme in industrial design of spd scuola politecnica di design. the italian-british designer, who signed the toa collection for pedrali, has been visiting professor for many years at the scuola politecnica di design in milan. this year, he gives his students a project brief focusing on working spaces and their ever new post-pandemic configurations: the significant change in lifestyle that we are currently experiencing makes it essential to create new reference models and new dynamic ways of interaction through flexible, functional and sustainable solutions in order to create tailor made, modular work spaces that can be rearranged according to the needs of the moment. In particular, the focus will be lounge areas, an increasingly interconnected space called to respond to new needs and therefore required to rearrange. students are also called to design a new lounge piece, inspired by modular seatings, that may fit into this area.
