Philía selected for the ADI Design Index 2025
the collection designed by Odo Fioravanti is competing for the 2026 Compasso d’Oro Award
The ADI Design Index 2025 selected 344 products, as part of the annual process carried out by ADI’s Permanent Design Observatory to highlight the best of Italian industrial design.
This selection represents the second volume in the biennial cycle leading up to the 2026 Compasso d'Oro, the most prestigious international award in industrial design, highlighting the vitality of innovation that drives Italian design, both in ideas and in tangible solutions.

Philía, designed by Odo Fioravanti for Pedrali, is among the products selected for the ADI Design Index. A collection of outdoor seating reminiscent of the traditional Italian garden chairs, recalling relaxed lifestyle in open air, typical of the Italian “dolce vita” of the Sixties. A side chair and armchair featured by rational and geometric lines that blend with softer forms typical of the human body. Philía is characterised by a resistant steel tubular frame, while seat and backrest are wrapped in a pvc cord, textured with lines, that, thanks to horizontal direction weaving, intersects at the centre to ensure elasticity and high resistance.

The products featured in the ADI Design Index 2025 are on display at the ADI Design Museum in Milan from 16 to 30 October. The exhibition will then move to Agrigento, where it will be hosted at the city’s convention centre from 12 to 28 November, as part of the events for Agrigento 2025 – Italian Capital of Culture.
