Coney, the seating collection designed by Mandelli Pagliarulo, wins the BIG SEE Award in the Product Design category.
BIG SEE Awards were launched in 2018 as regional awards to systematically explore and promote the creative and business potential of the Southeast Europe. Nowadays the award has achieved international resonance by selecting unique and original creative achievements in architecture, fashion, interior and product design globally.
Coney is an outdoor seating collection that combines functionality, comfort and a highly graphical visual impact. A mono-material collection – including chair, armchair and a lounge version – made of curved and strong tubular frame. The seat and backrest create a three-dimensional support, ensuring structural solidity and ergonomy. The equally spaced vertical slats of the backrest, moulded and shaped from metal sheet, create a distinctive pattern together with the horizontal ones of the seat.
