The Frank table, the Pedrali Pavilion and the “Pedrali60, we design a better future” exhibition compete for Compasso d’Oro 2026
The ADI Design Index 2024 has selected 261 products, part of an annual process by ADI’s Permanent Design Observatory to gather the best in industrial design. This selection marks the first volume in the biennial cycle leading to the Compasso d’Oro 2026, the most prestigious global award in industrial design, and showcases the vitality of innovation in Italian design’s ideas and tangible solutions.

Three Pedrali projects have been selected for the ADI Design Index 2024: the Frank table designed by Robin Rizzini, the Pedrali Pavilion designed by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi and the exhibition titled “Pedrali60, we design a better future” designed by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi and curated by Luca Molinari.

Frank table is inspired by architectural shapes and industrial materials. Together, its rational lines and curves contribute to conveying an image of lightness and contemporaneity. The structure on which the top rests is made up of two slightly curved die-cast aluminium bases with variable thickness. The bases taper towards the bottom, reaching the ground in a less accentuated curve and are connected by a sturdy steel beam, placed under the top. The rectangular top, with rounded corners, is available in different materials and finishes.

Pedrali Pavilion was designed in 2023 by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi to celebrate Pedrali’s 60th anniversary. Located at the company’s Headquarters in Mornico al Serio (Bergamo), the Pedrali Pavilion emerges as a large raised roof that houses two exhibition levels within: a suspended gallery on the upper level and a ground-floor portico. Designed as a light, functional space in harmony with its surroundings, the Pavilion embodies Pedrali’s commitment to continuous renewal and is envisioned to serve the Headquarters long-term.

The exhibition “Pedrali60, we design a better future” designed by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi and curated by Luca Molinari Studio unfolds inside the Pavilion. The suspended gallery became the stage for narrating the company's history, while the ground-floor portico traced a path to reflect on the need to find a shared dimension in which to build the future.

The products featured in the ADI Design Index 2024 are on display at the ADI Design Museum in Milan from 30 October to 17 November. Following this, the exhibition will move to Rome, where it will be showcased at Spazio WeGil – the cultural hub of the Lazio Region – from 25 to 30 November.
