For the fourth consecutive year, Pedrali collections have been selected for Italy’s Republic Day celebrations, held at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens on June 2. A special celebration marking the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic and strengthening the ties between two nations united by shared values: Italy and Greece.
Products from the 100% Made in Italy company furnished the indoor and outdoor spaces of the architectural complex designed by Renzo Piano. Coney chairs, designed by Mandelli Pagliarulo, which combine functionality, comfort and a highly graphical visual impact, were paired with Elliot coffee tables, designed by Patrick Jouin, featuring elegant silhouette and minimal design. These products embody the company's identity, which is recognised as one of the most influential ambassadors of Made in Italy furniture and industrial design.
The uniqueness of the “Italian way” lies precisely in the ability to combine human values, aesthetic excellence, savoir faire, technology, outstanding craftsmanship and a design culture nurtured through an open dialogue between entrepreneurs and designers. Italy’s world-class production heritage stems from a profound bond between quality and research.
