Victoria Azadinho Bocconi’s pot-holder and CMP Design’s armchair awarded in the Product Design category
Hevea, the pot-holder designed by Victoria Azadinho Bocconi, and Lamorisse, the armchair designed by CMP Design, win the BIG SEE Award in the Product Design category.
BIG SEE Awards were launched in 2018 as regional awards to systematically explore and promote the creative and business potential of the Southeast Europe.
Nowadays the award has achieved international resonance by selecting unique and original creative achievements in architecture, tourism, fashion, interior and product design globally.
Hevea is a versatile furnishing element that brings nature into residential and contract settings. This pot-holder consists of a central steel stem to which six polypropylene pots are hanged. The pots are easy to attach, either opposite one another or in a spiral. Hevea discreetly fits into any setting, complementing small indoor plants and giving life to unique and potentially infinite compositions. The Hevea elements fasten mechanically and are therefore easily separable for cleaning purposes. The different components can be disposed of correctly at the end of their life cycle.
Lamorisse is an armchair designed for the outdoors, but it is equally suited to any setting for pure relaxation. Its aluminium frame makes it ideal for a waterfront veranda, shaded outdoor areas, for a poolside table, and even on a ship deck. The structure in extruded aluminium, with oval legs welded to round tube armrests, holds a large and enveloping cushion in polyurethane foam. The seat is supported by elastic belts that offer maximum comfort and strength which almost disappear to focus the attention on the cushion, consisting of multiple sections joined by a zip and folded to create a shell.
