Designer Andrea Pedrali guides students in discovering the value of imperfection
Once again this year, Pedrali renews its commitment to the “alternanza scuola-lavoro” program (school-to-work initiative) in collaboration with La Traccia School Centre in Calcinate (Bergamo).
For this twelfth edition, the company involved designer Andrea Pedrali, who guided fourth-year students from the Art High School in a learning experience titled “Imperfect”.
At the heart of the project lies the challenge of creating a collection of decorative objects using scraps from the company’s various production departments. The goal is to transform flaws into value, giving new life to materials through creative and sustainable solutions.
The students presented their projects on Wednesday, June 4, during “you’re hope”, the end-of-year festival taking place from May 30 to June 8.
Through its presence in schools, the #pedrali4education initiative aims to bring young people closer to the world of work and to pass on the craftsmanship on which the company has built its roots.
